However, access to these services can be complicated due to various factors, such as lack of available resources, geographic location, financial constraints, and a lack of knowledge about the services available. This can lead to a life that is unnecessarily complicated, adding more challenges to an already difficult situation.”

The London SCI network is working to improve outcomes and experiences for individuals with spinal cord injury across London.
In 2019, NHS England and Improvement identified a need to transform services to people with spinal cord injury. Each region will set up its own network to coordinate care services and education to improve service delivery. This is the website for the London region of the National SCI network.
